POINTS FINALE THIS WEEKEND

PLUS RACE OF CHAMPIONS ON SUNDAY

This Saturday and Sunday, September 6 & 7 are the final Flaherty Points Bracket races of the season at CFR. All race classes will be conducted on the 1/8-mile format. Classes of competition include Super Pro, Pro, Sportsman, Pure Street and Junior Dragster. The Race of Champions on Sunday will be for the class champions in a run-off for a 2009 Gold Card (Super Pro, Pro, Sportsman and Pure Street).

The Super Pro/Pro class features $2,000 to win with a top down pay-out. "Round pay-out is based on the number of entries" said Dan Driscoll. "However with this format we always guarantee $2000 to win"

Gates open Friday with a Fun Night and open racing for everyone.

Work continues in the shutdown area in hopes in returning to quarter-mile racing later this season.
