H&W SPEED SHOP 10.5" CARS, MOTORCYCLES & TEST-N-TUNE THIS SATURDAY

This Saturday, June 11 is the H&W Speed Shop 10.5" Tire Challenge along with Motorcycle classes and Test-n-Tune. "Finally I hope we get a chance to have the 10.5" cars here at Cedar Falls" said Dan Driscoll. "An earlier event was cancelled because of rain, so this will be the first race for them at CFR in 2011."

The 10.5" tire cars are radical entries that are not allowed to have wheelie bars and other performance enhancer's and are limited to the small tire width. The cars are often on the edge on out of control as many have a huge amount of horsepower and have to figure out how to make it transfer into good on- track performances. Gates open Saturday at 1 PM with racing underway at 2 PM. Open test-n-tune will also be throughout the day.

The weekend begins on Friday (June 10) with a Fun Night and open racing for everyone. Gates open Friday at 6 PM with racing beginning at 6:30 PM. In addition the High School class will also be contested!
